A collection of Indian Pay-When-You-Earn Bootcamps

This is the 3rd article in the 3 part-series by Suhas Motwani and me. Checkout Part -1 and Part -2 for coding bootcamps in the USA.

ISA(Income Share Agreement) based bootcamps are now gaining traction in India. Heard of them before? (Yeah, Twitter’s been gaga about it!) Don’t worry if you haven’t, this article’s got you covered.

To put it simply, an income-share agreement, or ISA, is a tuition financing model where students agree to pay a percentage of their salary to the coding bootcamp or ISA provider for a specific amount of time after completing their program and landing a job — rather than paying tuition up front.

Want to get into one? Here’s a list of few Indian Pay-When-You-Earn Bootcamps (we’re also coming up with a Part 5, that’ll cover what you need to do to get in, so stay tuned!)

I recently came across this prominent bootcamp in ISA space. With a strong team (Ex-IIT, Ex-google/facebook/Adobe) they’re accepting students from all academic and socio economic backgrounds. 10X academy have a full-stack development curriculum with a focus on problem-solving using python, which is essential to get into any product companies. Post which, students will dive deep into JavaScript front-end and back-end frameworks. Towards the end of curriculum students will be building a capstone project which is a replica of what real-time projects at companies look like. With soft-skills training and dedicated placement support, students can expect salaries in the range of 5–20lpa.
